These have been uploaded as http://www.sisoft.com/ibis-quality/docs/ibischk3_msgs.txt. Kim Helliwell delivered his updated document; it was uploaded as IQ_1_0_quality_summary.txt. - Opens for new items No new items. - Plans for DesignCon 03 Summit on Monday, Jan 27th. Barry will present current status and examples of application at SiSoft. - Detailed Documentation review IQ_1_0_quality_summary.txt Items re-ordered based on comments last week. Still needs formatting. Discussion: "Latest version" should refer to ibischk. Version must be documented. Could note that latest ibischk checks all current and previous IBIS versions. Wording: change "yields" to "must yield"; add "must be defined" as verbs to statements of required items. State that the goal is zero warnings. Vil/Vih should be Vinl/Vinh. Discussion on what it means for Overshoot to be required. Is "NA" allowed? This would mean Model Spec would be required for Level 0. Diff pins, model selectors, etc: add keywords. Could change "reasonableness" to "correctness". Or just change all of these to simply "must be checked", or "checked in accordance with . Since V-t tables and [Ramp] might not use the same load, how would the [Ramp] values be validated? Perhaps say "[Ramp] data must be derived in accordance with IBIS specification", and validated against V-t curves at 50 Ohms if they are available. Reword requirements for V-t curves, since this is covered later in the Quality document. Typ/Min/Max must be present and in correct order. All output models must be run under standard load and switch through Vmeas. All receiver models must be run through a simulation - but is the point to test the capacitance, clamps, thresholds, or just a smoke test? A smoke test does not need to specify the circuit conditions. Consensus: go with "All receivers must be simulated." AR: Barry to review minutes to see if Overshoot is required at Level 0. AR: Kim to update document. AR: ALL: Read Kim's updated document. Post comments on the Quality reflector. - Plans for next meeting Review Todd's document. - Schedule for next meeting January 21, 2003 9-10 AM EST (6-7 AM PST) Phone: 408-974-8478 or 800-249-5618 Meeting access: CONFERENCE SERVER 1, Conference ID: 54644 Meeting ended at 10:05 AM Eastern Time.
